🍁 October 2025 Web Cafe Highlights

While ohanami (cherry blossom viewing) begins in Japan’s south and travels north, momijigari—the art of autumn leaf viewing—moves from north to south. 🍂

In our recent free Nihongo Web Cafe, participants explored this beautiful tradition through two lively breakout rooms. The two rooms dove into the origins of momijigari as a pastime of the nobility and highlighted famous autumn spots from scenic countryside trails to vibrant city parks. Everyone shared their insights and stories, making the session both interactive and heartwarming.

北から南へ！

🍁 2025年10月ウェブカフェハイライト

日本ではお花見（桜鑑賞）が南から北へと移り変わっていくように、紅葉狩り（紅葉鑑賞）は北から南へと移り変わっていきます。🍂

先日開催された無料の日本語ウェブカフェでは、参加者の皆さんが2つの活気あふれるブレイクアウトルームで、この美しい伝統について学びました。それぞれのルームでは、紅葉狩りが貴族の娯楽として始まった歴史や、風光明媚な田園地帯の散策路から賑やかな都市公園まで、有名な紅葉スポットについて深く掘り下げました。参加者の皆さんはそれぞれの見識や体験談を共有し、インタラクティブで心温まるセッションとなりました。
