(nods) N: Now, a novelty shop can be a retail shop if the business sells merchandise that is used everyday but the design is one-of-a-kind. S: Hm? What does 'one-of-a-kind' mean? N: It is another word for unique. So let's use Starbucks again. It sells coffee and coffee is an everyday essential. But, it is also unique because the coffee it sells is only made by Starbucks company. S: AAHH! So Starbucks is both types of business. (beams) N: That’s correct, Shin! Very clever!
