今回は、DCEC英会話のLiz（リズ）先生です。
彼女は、フランスのグランゼコール系ビジネススクールトップのESSCAで経営の修士号を獲得し、大学でビジネスの教授として教鞭をとる一方、自身も起業家でもあるので、英語を学びながら、ビジネススクールで学ぶような知識も得られる機会もあります

こんにちは！
私の名前はリエゼルです。フィリピン出身です。皆さんの英語学習の旅に参加できることをとても嬉しく思っています！ 教育とビジネスの両方の分野で15年以上の経験があり、さまざまな背景や文化を持つ人々と出会えるこの仕事を心から楽しんでいます。 最初は大学講師として、マーケティング、起業論、ビジネス・コミュニケーション、消費者行動などの科目を教えていました。その後、学科長となり、学生と教員の両方と協力しながら、プログラムの改善やより良い学びの環境づくりに取り組んできました。
教室を離れてからは、マーケティング、事業開発、戦略立案、オペレーションなどの分野でも活躍してきました。マーケティング・ディレクターを務めたり、さまざまなプロジェクトをリードしたり、チームをまとめたり、事業の成長をサポートしたりしてきました。これらの経験を通じて、良いコミュニケーションが誰にとっても最も大切なスキルのひとつだと実感しています。 また、私自身も起業家です。学びをもっと楽しく、実践的で意味のあるものにしたいという思いから、「LearnLoop」という情熱プロジェクトを始めました。人々が学ぶための新しい方法を考えるのが大好きで、学びは怖いものではなく、常に楽しめるものであるべきだと信じています。 TESZARAに参加できて本当に嬉しい理由のひとつは、私の日本への愛です。
多くの人と同じように、私の日本好きはアニメから始まりました。子どもの頃、『烈火の炎』『幽☆遊☆白書』『カードキャプターさくら』『セーラームーン』などを見て育ちました。それらの作品が日本の文化への好奇心をかき立て、その好奇心は今も私の中に残り続けています。
これまで東京、大阪、京都、広島、札幌、新潟を訪れる幸運に恵まれました。訪れるたびに、日本への愛がさらに深まっています。歴史や伝統、食べ物、そして日常の中で人々が示す優しさや思いやりを学ぶのが大好きです。毎回の旅で新しい発見があり、また必ず戻ってきたいと思っています。
これまでのキャリアの中で、さまざまな国の学生や社会人、同僚と一緒に働いてきました。英語を話すことに緊張し、「間違えるのが怖い」と感じている人にたくさん出会ってきました。その気持ちはよくわかります。だからこそ、私の授業はリラックスして、親しみやすく、励まし合える場にしたいと思っています。完璧である必要はありません。大切なのは挑戦し続けること。私がそばでしっかりサポートします。

ただ文法を暗記するのではなく、実際の会話を大切にします。
日常生活や仕事、旅行、学校で使える実践的な英語を練習します。

そして何より、楽しく一緒に学んでいきます。

Hello!
My name is Liezel. I'm from the Philippines. I'm so happy to be a part of your English learning journey! I have over 15 years of experience in both education and business, and I truly enjoy this job, meeting people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Initially, I worked as a university lecturer, teaching subjects such as marketing, entrepreneurship, business communication, and consumer behavior. Later, I became a department head, working with both students and faculty to improve programs and create a better learning environment.
Beyond the classroom, I have also been active in areas such as marketing, business development, strategy planning, and operations. I have served as a marketing director, led various projects, managed teams, and supported business growth. Through these experiences, I have come to realize that good communication is one of the most important skills for everyone. I am also an entrepreneur myself. Driven by a desire to make learning more enjoyable, practical, and meaningful, I started a passionate project called "LearnLoop." I love thinking up new ways for people to learn, and I believe that learning should always be fun, not scary. One of the reasons I am so happy to be a part of TESZARA is my love for Japan.
Like many people, my love for Japan began with anime. As a child, I grew up watching shows like "Flame of Recca," "Yu Yu Hakusho," "Cardcaptor Sakura," and "Sailor Moon." These works sparked my curiosity about Japanese culture, and that curiosity remains within me today.
I have been fortunate enough to visit Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Sapporo, and Niigata. Each visit deepens my love for Japan. I love learning about its history, traditions, food, and the kindness and compassion that people show in everyday life. Each trip brings new discoveries, and I always want to return.
Throughout my career, I've worked with students, professionals, and colleagues from various countries. I've met many people who feel nervous speaking English and are afraid of making mistakes. I understand that feeling very well. That's why I want my classes to be a relaxed, friendly, and encouraging environment. You don't need to be perfect. What's important is to keep trying. I'll be there to support you every step of the way.

And most importantly, we learn together in a fun way.
I also love meeting people from different cultures. Each student has their own unique story, and learning from them is a great joy for me. I look forward to exploring diverse ideas, sharing experiences, and having meaningful conversations. Outside of class time, I enjoy reading, writing, brainstorming new learning ideas for LearnLoop, spending time with my cat, and planning my next trip to Japan. Thank you for reading my profile.
