Teaching has always been my passion. Prior to coming to Japan, I had been in the teaching profession for a total of 8 years.I couldn’t think of any other fields much more challenging, inspiring, enjoyable, sometimes frustrating yet rewarding. Teaching English in Japan, specifically, has in turn taught me fascinating and wonderful things about Japanese culture.Teaching, being my calling, makes me duty-bound to give my best at it.
In DCEC, I am just one of the governesses, as we call ourselves, who share the same passion, therefore, it is our business to create and provide a comfortable environment for our learners to enjoy learning English with ease and a sense of satisfaction.
For those who wish to experience the fun in discovering the simplicity to complexity of the English language, I’m inviting you to be a part of the growing Dela Cruz English Club family.Once you’re in, you’re guaranteed of a quality service provided only by the staffs, governesses and management of DCEC.
Don’t be left out.Join us and we’d be glad to be a part of your learning process…See you!

◆HEAD of HRD / MARKETING : MARIANE ROQUID

Speaking English has been an important skill to learn and acquire not only in traveling abroad but most especially in business. The biggest challenge for Japanese people is how to use the English language in conversations with ease. Choosing the right method to use is one consideration. In DCEC, our method can be acquired naturally by listening to the English words/phrase s and sentences daily, mimicking the words, and finally using the phrases learned without giving much emphasis on grammar. There’s no specific formula for learning English the easier and effective way but the DCEC way. Committing mistakes is regarded as a normal process of learning.
Learning English doesn’t seem to be tough; we can learn it by fun. In DCEC, we greet everyone with smile, show our hospitality and care to our learners and we create a fun and lively atmosphere in class through role-playings and activities. As teachers we want our learners to learn/improve their English skills while enjoying it. In that way, we make a harmonious relation in DCEC.
We are inviting Japanese people to visit our office and experience the DCEC method and let’s have fun learning English.
